05.09.08 Will be updated at the June 18th General Membership Meeting. Please review the bylaws and participate in a 30 day comment period starting May 9th. Mark your calendar for June 18th for your annual legislative update with John Eaton, Government Affairs Director with the Idaho Association, Senator John Goedde & Representative Frank Henderson. We will approve the bylaw changes at this meeting. Thanks for your continued involvement and support. Rick Vernon, E.O. |
Comprehensive Plan Is Out! Short Review Period!
05.02.08 Please review the final chapters of the county comp plan and share any concerns or input that you may have. We will have a 60 day review period for public discussion before Kootenai County decides on implementation. Once the new plan is in place, new rules will be drafted for Planning & Zoning and it will be a little late to raise concerns over land use and property rights.
There will be 5 public hearings at different locations around the county as well. This is very important. Now is the time to be involved. The county link is shown below. More info... |
